So they all died knowing he did not rise. And why were they killed if he did not rise? The Romans could have produced the body if that was true. Rome was powerful enough to see to it the truth was none. Rome could not refute the empty tomb and the testimony of thousands of people who saw Jesus. If Christ were dead, the Romans would have no motivation to kill christians, and the religion would have been discredited. And at least Judaism would have prevalied. There is no proof for atheism.

Yes, we can always hope. Although, I am gratefully aware of much of the bad that can happen to me during that impending six-week ordeal, so I am not expecting any surprises. I do not like medical surprises. In my experience medical surprises are never a good thing.

No one is born gay or straight. If they were there would be no fluidity in sexual orientation. If being gay is inborn why is it that in the majority of cases, if one identical twin is gay the other is not?

When a person feels special, they feel that they know they are special.

The Catholic Church does not teach that Mary was "perfect". It teaches only that she was born free of "the stain of original sin". She could be ignorant and make mistakes, but did not sin, because her Immaculate Conception removed her out from under sin's shadow.

I can't relate but I suggest you do your best to repress it. Telling your partner would be the right thing but it could impede his career and therefore possibly his fulfillment. Please do whatever you can to avoid that creepy dude at all costs
